Three months late but better late than never right? I started writing this blog months ago but somehow never got around to finishing it. What have I been doing? I don't know, probably making tutus and binge-watching shows on Netflix and Hulu. (Thank you Netflix for eight seasons of Dexter to catch up on!)
Back in October on Halloween (yikes that was a long time ago!) I participated in the Over the Edge event put on by Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure for the second year in a row. (More on last year here.) I was excited to being going 'over the edge' again as an experienced 'edger', and was happy to help raise money for an organization I really believe in. I was also featured in an article on the Self Magazine website before the event which was a nice change from the previous topic which got me on their radar. (More on #tutugate in case you hadn't heard.)
The event was a lot of fun and I was happy to see that I wasn't half as scared this time as I was the first time. My neurosurgeon also participated in the event this year and David and I had to chance to chit chat with him for a bit before the event, and I went over right after he did. And now, I'll let these photos tell the rest of the story from the day!
