I was recently featured in a bi-monthly column in the San Diego Union Tribune newspaper called Courage Through Cancer. I'm glad I had a chance to share my story because I feel that the awareness of incurable cancers is low, even among the medical community. Each time I see a new doctor and we are going over my medical history and they see that I have cancer and we start to talk about it, they are baffled by the fact that I went through treatment, am not cured, and am currently not on any treatment to fight this disease. My tumor has been stable for the past four months since I've been off chemo which is great. Stable but still present. In the mean time I am still living life. Working, spending time with friends and family, and running regularly.
