Week in Vancouver

I recently spent a week in Vancouver for work covering two different tradeshows. I'm rarely gone for such a long stretch at a time and I'll be honest, it kind of sucked. Something that did NOT suck though was being able to run the Vancouver Half Marathon in the middle of my trip. Score!

I've decided to stick to my recent theme of photo blogging. A picture is worth a thousand words right? And let's be honest, I can blabber on for thousands of words .. and its much easier to just look through my photos to get a sense of the trip. :o)

After being in Phoenix for the afternoon and night I drove back to San Diego the next morning. O M G I was tired. So weird to be back in the office, but glad to be home! The trip to Vancouver was wayyyyy too long, but love the city and seriously, life could be worse. Had a great time seeing my Phoenix friends before and after Vancouver (drove there so my dear friend Diane could watch my dogs for a week), made some new SoCal friends at the show, got to run a race, and overall had a fun week in Vancouver!

Next up ... (for travel) ... Vegas (again!?!??!) in June.

Sounds like a great trip! We love Vancouver - but not enough to stay in WA lol
It's always nice to get back to SD when you've been gone - even for 1 day!

I like your phlog :-) How nice that you were able to run a half while in Vancouver! Love your MM shirt. I can't wait to receive mine. Also, you know you can buy chupa chus here in San Diego, right? At World Market.

Phlog! I like that! :) Yes, I've seen chupa chups around but love those bit huge ones with all of them inside! I gave one to my friend (who loves them) after her first full marathon :)
